Chelsea is the founding partner of Ciao Design Studio, with a background in architecture and interior design.
With over 15 years of experience across Australia, New Zealand and Europe, she brings a considered approach to each project—balancing creative direction with technical clarity. Her work is focused on creating refined, functional environments that reflect how clients live and use their spaces.
Chelsea works closely with clients throughout the design and delivery process, ensuring each project is resolved with clarity, detail and intention. Her experience in documentation and project coordination allows her to guide projects from early concepts through to completion with confidence.
James Ji
Co-Founder - Interior Design & Window Furnishings Specialist
James is the co-founder of Ciao Design Studio, bringing over 15 years of experience across interior design and window furnishings.
With a strong technical focus, James is known for his attention to detail and ability to translate design intent into well-resolved, buildable outcomes. His expertise spans custom window treatments, material integration and on-site coordination, ensuring each element is considered not only aesthetically, but practically.
James plays a key role in bridging design and delivery — working closely with clients, suppliers and trades to ensure every detail is executed with precision. His deep knowledge of construction and installation allows him to anticipate challenges early and deliver solutions that are both refined and reliable.
His approach is calm, methodical and highly solution-oriented, supporting projects from concept through to completion with clarity and confidence.
